This was my walk home this morning. It's warm and not rainy at all but the ice is melting- it's false hope for spring coming. It also smells a little like pine trees out there.

I just like all the furry-looking sticks stuck to this one.

Love the yellow house, love the little lane beside it, love this whole street.

The new camera works quite well...

This is the best little convenience store. They have great samosas and they're super friendly. The first time I went in, the lady who works there (maybe owns it?) asked me if I'd ever been there before and then welcomed me to the store when I said I hadn't. So cute!

Love this book store too. I don't think it matters which book you want to buy, the owner has read it and will tell you about it.

La vie en rose

Buhhh I think I'm getting sick...other than the feeling like crap part of being sick, the thing I really hate is wondering when I forgot to wash my hands or why I don't exercise more or anything else that would help. Gross, everyone stay away!

Forgot to mention earlier...one of my new goals is to write a little everyday, not necessarily here since some stuff is just too good not to put in the old-fashioned journal.
The other has to do with my job. I choose not to discuss very much of my job on the internet since it is rather sensitive and I wouldn't want to jeopardize it in any way. The goal is to stress less by finishing the at-home portion of it as quickly as possible without dwelling on it, worrying, procrastinating and being enough of a perfectionist that it never actually gets done until the morning, at which point I complete the job in about 15 minutes and it's better than something I spend 4 hours pretending to work on. When I'm pretending to work on something, I pretty much just read news sites and listen to music...so lame.

It was a snow day from/off work today...nothing more better than staying home because of snow. It was pretty great because yours truly spent most of Sunday dreading going to work. Not sure why, I love the job but still, I'd rather be elsewhere.

I have the travel bug badddd right now...I want to go to New York but I really don't see myself leaving the city limits anytime soon. Jen and I have semi-plans to road trip across Canada this summer although I must admit...I don't see how my rent will be paid during that little extravaganza.

My doesn't seem to want to turn on anymore so it'll be stock footage for now...
